Checking Windows Installation

If going through the steps listed here doesn't resolve your issue, it is recommended you check the integrity of your Windows installation.  Please see the steps below.

1. Verify that your Windows installation is OK:
   System File Checker
   Command:
   sfc /scannow

   Verify Windows files:
   Commands:
   DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
   DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
   DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

2. Perform a clean windows boot

    

3. Move your games files to a different drive. After the move, please verify the integrity of the games' files.
